Shopping for a new monitor?

Recently I'm in the market for a new monitor for my computer and I have absolutely what to look for as far as brands, specs. etc. I would like a little direction as to where to go for some more information on how to look for the monitor that I need. I'm going to be using it mainly for gaming, so I would like a monitor that doesnt have a lot of motion blur. Plus I'm planning on using it as a TV for my xbox. my budget will be around $1000 - a list of requirements I'm looking for: vga connector for my PC HD input for xbox low or no motion blur decent sized (22'' plus preffered) any help in guiding me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

newegg.com they have an advanced search where you can choose what inputs, for what price range, then organize it by best ratings and most popular btw, we just got the samsung 40 inch LED series 6 tv. it's amazing! it was like 990 at frys it works pretty well as a monitor too
