Computer screen went fuzzy and is blinking?

My computer was left on sleep mode last night and when I went to use it this morning the screen was black and?

My computer was left on sleep mode last night and when I went to use it this morning the screen was black and so I tried to re-start and nothing. After about an hour I used the computer with just using the battery it did come on but when I went to use the power cord it went black again. Help

power it OFF. keep pressing the POWER button until it turns off. and turn it back on.then go to your power settings ( it is under the control panel - or right click on your battery on the taskbar) and take it off sleep mode / hibernating option, Windows is Buggy when it comes to sleep mode and hibernation. some times it wont even wake up. SO take that option OFF. personally i dont use windows anymore. it was too bloated too slow too retarded for me to use on my machines. I switched to linux 4 years ago. (open source free operating system)
