How to fix graphics card on my pc?

Pc Monitor Graphics Problem?

• Hi Peeps. I have a problem with my Pc, I brought my Motherboard and Graphics Card at the same time from New about a year ago it was working fine till about a month ago, now my monitor is showing tiny colourfull pixle static spots flickering around on it, It also shows little colourfull thin lines when im watching a movie or moving files on my desktop also when im using Internet Explorer iv tryed re-installing windows many times iv also tryed new and old drivers even the ones that came with the Graphics Card iv even let Windows Update and install them for me but still getting the same problem. I have been using my Onboard Graphics on my Motherboard for a month now and it is completely fine i would pref my Graphics Card up and running again. Does any one know what could be the problem or how to fix it My motherboard is - ASUS P5KPL-AM EPU Runnung Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (R) Intel Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E6300 @ 2.80GHz Socket 775 Memory - 2X 1GB at 1024 MBytes DDR2 And my Graphics Card is a - GT220 1024mb DDR3 128B CRT DVI HDMI (It happens if i use CRT DVI or HDMI)

  Your graphics card is kaput, if it is still under warranty, I would send your GT220 back to the vendor and ask for an RMA replacement. The strange pixels that you see appearing is a result of what is called "artifacting" and this affects video cards which no longer function properly, or are overheating. If the card is malfunctioning, there is nothing you can do to fix it, except to send it back from where you first purchased the card. In australia, all stores must have at least 12 months return to base warranty. However after the 12 month period you need to contact the manufacturer directly (example: PowerColor) and claim warranty from them instead.
