Samsung monitor problem.

Problem in my SAMSUNG SA300 22” LED monitor?

• I have purchased a SAMSUNG SA300 22” LED monitor, it is working at 1920 x 1080 / 60 Hz resolution. It is working fine with a problem that fonts/names of the icons on desk top and on few other screens are not clear; if I increese the sharpness it becomes shap but with much flicker/twinkling, if reduce then flicker/twinkling removes/reduced but the desktop colour is mixed in it. I hope the problem is clear. Some one please tell me how to remove it.

  Be sure you'r using the latest drivers for you graphics card. ----------------- Can you adjust your Hz sometime office lighting with cause a flicker and adjusting the Hz can take care of it. -------------------- If you have XP use the ClearType tuner. http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/step1.aspx ---------------------------- Display properties->Settings tab->Effects button -> check if "clear type" is enabled. If so, change to Standard. ---------------------- I thought a DVI - HDMI would be the best connection - wrong - i changed it from DVI to the usual VGA and all looked a 100 times better. ---------------------
