No signal monitor....?

I had this pc a while back and one day i went to turn it on and bam no signal.. to the monitor.. so I'm like okay.. Video card went bad of course is the first logic no signal to the monitor.. what gives the monitor signal is the video card.. and I got another video card a 2nd hand video card and i Put it in the AGP slot.. and same problem.. so i'm like 2nd hand maybe it was broken already.. so i went n bought a new one.. but same problem.. so basically.. I dont get a signal to my monitor and is NOT the video card :) the computer does turn on and no beeping sounds after I tried it with my TV instead of the monitor but same problem

Same thing happened to me.... but since there's no beeping sound,it could not be the RAM, could be the Processor. But before changing the processor, remove the RAM and dust the RAM slot and re-insert it,maybe in the other slot. Also check the SMPS (Even if the fans are working, it could still be the problem with the SMPS)

Have you tried resetting the MB? There is a jumper usually, if not unplug, remove the battery for about 30 sec, then put it back in. If this works you will have to go back into the BIOS and change the date, etc. If this doesn't work, then the next thing to check is the power supply. Others might have some ideas.

definitely a hardware problem since it's not the video card, either has to be CPU, Motherboard or memory (RAM) problem
