Why does my monitor keep turning off?
-
It's an LCD screen I've hooked up my old tube monitor and it works just fine (using the same power cord) The screen had been flickering (hardly noticeable) all day before the screen started turning black. The power button is always fully lit when the screen goes off and I'm often typing or moving my mouse. The screen does not return to full picture until I turn off the power and turn it back on. For solutions, I've already tried troubleshooting. The little pegs seemed fine, aside from a bit of dust I carefully blew out. I didn't bother to check the settings since my current (clunky and uncomfortable) monitor is working just fine.
