Specifications monitor for graphic design?
-
Hi guys, I need a good monitor for graphic design, so I would like to know which technical specifications I should look for. If you can suggest me a model is also fine. Saludos :)

Answer:
Technical specifications mean nothing, as things like contrast aren't uniformly measured! Just look for a PVA or S-IPS panel, as they have better color accuracy, make sure it has DVI so you don't sufffer digital degradation, and if possible, test before purchase to ensure it looks acceptable. If you need the best, Eizo and Liyama never fail- expect equisite products that have top-flight internal componentry designed to last at least a decade- and also expect a rather light wallet afterwards. But, they're what pro artists use.
