How do i fix my screen orientation for my TV?
-
I have a Toshiba laptop and a 42" Samsung TV. I hook them up via a HDMI lead when I want to watch a film on a bigger screen. At first the laptop screen would fit to screen and be projected on the TV full screen. Now though when I connect it, the size is wrong, its gone smaller at the sides and at the top and bottom so its like a small rectangle in the middle of the TV. It's watchable but I miss the full sized screen. I have no idea how to change it, the sizes on the laptop don't fit correctly when i've tried to change it. Does anyone know if there is a program or something that will detect it's exact dimensions or something?

Answer:
The answer is in the settings for your TV. Go into the settings and set the tv to always display in full screen instead of automatically detect size. That should solve your problem.
