Why does my monitor have a pink hue to it?

Why does my computer monitor have a purple hue?

• We just got the new Dell Inspiron One 2305. The monitor is enhancing all the blue tones to purple. I know it's not broken because the one in the store looks this way. (We ordered online before looking at it in the store...I know it was dumb.) Anyway, We have tried Calibrating it, updating the color card, Brightness/Contrast, Changed our background themes, fixed the gamma, the bits, ect... Even Dell online synced up to our computer and said it couldn't be fixed. They are sending us a new computer but I don't think it's broken because It works perfect and the color it's displaying is EXACTLY the same as the one on display at Best Buy. Is there a way to turn down the purple hue? I am a photographer and I need the colors to match true color :( Any kind help is appreciated.

  I saw a monitor at Office Depot the other day and it did the same thing. Funny the menu had the correct color. I tried to fix that one too for about 10 mintues and could not. I think that monitor was broken too or the cable was broken it was a vga connection.
