Xbox 360 power supply?

Power a Monitor on an Xbox 360 Power Supply?

  • Hello I am currently building a Xbox 360 laptop and i wanted to know if it was possible to get the monitor to be powered by the xbox 360 power supply, therefore making it so i just have one plug that will power the whole thing.

  • Answer:

Yes, but you'd need to bridge the fuse with a chunk of metal and risk a fire, after doing that you just have to split the wiring and have one end be the plug for the xbox and then the other the plug for the TV i'll reiterate, RISK OF FIRE. I'd go with the alternative of tieing your cables together and having a small extension cord go from the xbox to the TV, then you just have to plug the cables into adjacent power sockets and then plug the xbox one into the xbox and tv one into the extension, then plug the tv into the extension. if you're using a really small monitor then it could even be mounted on a flip mechanism and the cable from the TV could be cut to the needed length without any excess.
