My monitor doesnt show anything?

alright i had a computer that got Broken( i got mad and i threw that **** on the floor a couple times really hard) and it had some componets that look like they still work because they arent broken or scrathed and then i got the ram and the cpu from the old one..yesturday i decided to build a new computer using the parts from the old one, the good ones obiously.. BUt now that i have put everythin together the pc turns on because i hear the fans spin and a couple beeps but the monitor doesnt show anything could it be that the RAM got messed up when i trhrew it or could it be the cpu? i heard that its could be the ram but i dont know any help..?
Answer:

Check the monitor on another computer or check the computer with another monitor. If you've ruled that out already, I'd suspect the video card (or motherboard if no additional video card). If you don't have a video card and are just using the mother board onboard video, you might need to get a video card. Of course the whole thing could just be shot.

i think there is a problem with your ram(coz of beeps). about your monitor ,i think that maybe your power cord has a problem or even it may have some internal problem. and the worst part may be that your video card has got %$#%

No its not the ram. It is probably the graphics card. Is it on the mother board or by itself?
