Why does my computer monitor keep saying "no signal"?

Computer monitor problem?

  • so my computer was running just fine and i had 2 monitors hooked up and it was going great but i had to completely install the operating system of my computer now i have everything set up the right way (monitors in the right spots and everything) and for some reason when i try to click on the "32 bit color" in the Display options a window popes up saying "Changes have been made do you wish to keep them" i press accpet and it goes right back to an 8 bit color and no matter what i do it wont change also i click on the 2nd monitor and click "extend my work to this screen" and it does but i get NOTHING on the screen its still just black any ideas ~Soup (i reinstalled my graphics card a few min ago still same problem)

    You probably need to install the chip set motherboard driver for your display to work right.After that I would reinstall the graphics card driver from the manufacturers website.
