Can I connect my laptop to my HDTV using HDMI?

How do I correct overscan in windows? I can't find a way to anywhere.?

I'm using an HDMI cable to connect my laptop up to an HDTV. I'm on windows vista and I'm mirroring the displays. However, the display on the TV has the edges cut off and this is extremely annoying. Upon research i found out this phenomenon is called 'overscan', and apparently a common problem. Everywhere online said it is "easily corrected in windows using the nVidia dialog box" or something. However I cannot find this anywhere! I do not know how to correct this problem and would appreciate any help anyone could offer. Thanks in advance Richard
