How to hook up a monitor and TV to one computer?
-
My current setup is a monitor hooked up to my computer and then i have my plasma, all dvi-d ports. What i want to do is connect my computer to my monitor and my plasma via a switch. Is there such a thing that would split the video from my computer to two displays? Then i Could easily flip a switch depending on if i wanted the video on the plasma or the monitor Note **A KVM Switch is not what I want**

Answer:
ok, you need a video card that has 2 dvi ports on it. i know that the nvidia 8800 has 2 dvi ports, and i think all the nvidia above that has 2 dvi ports,. thenyou can connect both of them (your monitor and your tv) i do it to. i have a projector and a 21 in. widescreen plasma monitor. if you have any questions or comments feel free to email me at [email protected]
