A computer monitor is a green screen?

Well, today when I turned on my computer the monitor screen basically shifted to the left and it was shaking?

Well, today when I turned on my computer the monitor screen basically shifted to the left and it was shaking violently.. I tried cleaning the inside of the computer to get rid of the dust and when I turned it on, it continued to shake violently to the point where the monitor was turning on and off, I force restarted it and instead of it shaking, the monitor wouldnt turn on, instead it would say "Monitor is going to sleep" whats wrong with my computer? Do I need to replace my video card? or is it the monitor I need to replace? I have a windows vista and my monitor is a HP w2207 This problem had never occured before and just started beginning early this morning and continues to do this until now. Please help

Do you mean the picture was shaking or was the monitor literally shaking and moving? If so, time to get a new monitor...And throw the other one in a bomb shelter. O_O
