How do I increase my graphics card resolution?

Cannot increase resolution higher than 1024x 768 after installing graphics card!?

  • please help me if i uninstall the Nvidia drivers, then i can get the 1280x1024 resolution. But if i install the driver, then the resolution is limtied to 1024x768. I have fixed this thing before by updating the monitor firmware. (LG 1552S) but I could not find it. Please help. I use a Nvidia 7300GT card XP OS a 19" LG 1552S monitor.

    try to download the lastest driver from nvidia.com the driver CD comes with the video card is always outdated.
