Why does my moniter turn off on its own [unless its my PC [read below]?

  • it turns of why can you tell me is it the old whire or just high usage off power its like the screen just goes of but its still on so i have to turn it on and off again it dont happen alot but why?

  • Answer:

monitors with power saving features turn of after no activity (motherboard/video car signals no activity from the user and will go to screensaver mode then low power to monitor) 1. its possible the cable is loose, the monitor thinks no signal 2. monitor sleep/power saver feature is failing (this one happend to me) needs to be fixed internally (hardware) 3. try to configure your operating systems' power save mode ex , windows power profile in control panel.
