Why is there no sound coming from my monitor?

Monitor wont work and it has weird sound coming from the power button.?

  Is it an older monitor? If so, the resolution (graphics) settings on the computer might be set too high for the monitor to handle. Sure you can reply, you just did! Best thing to do would be to lower the resolution on the computer so you can play whatever game you're referring to but you will lose quality in the process. As far as the sounds coming out of the power button goes, that I'm not really sure about. My other suggestion would be a purchase a newer model monitor but of course, that would depend on what you can afford. These days, monitors aren't usually that expensive. Good luck and happy holidays!
