I really need help about my computer monitor?

  • Hello, i need help about my computer monitor it is the HP (w2408h) i bought it in march and it already has back-light bleeding all around on only dark screen like for example ( dark web-pages,dark scenes in movies,dark wall-paper anything dark. It really bothers me i paid 560.00 for this monitor in march and already back-light bleeding. I called HP and the guy didn't seem to know what he was talking about is there something i can do about this i have a 1 year warranty from HP and 3 year warranty from future-shop i called future-shop to see if they could help me fix this they said to call HP i called HP twice they seem very Inexperienced and didn't know what they were talking about for the price i paid for this monitor this shouldn't happen and it bothers me. I need help i don't know what to do.

    Ring HP and explain your problem. If the person you speak to seems inexperiences. Politely ask to speak to someone else who may be able to better help you. You have your warranty therefore they have to replace/repair it

This is why you pay for warranty. It doesn't matter how much you paid for the monitor....once the warranty is expired....its yours. If you do have warranty on it..they will pay for the repair not for the cost of a new one. Good luck!

This isn't something you personally can fix. You need to take it back to the store or send it back to HP and demand they fix it since you have a warranty.

Take it back its only going to get worse. welcome to the world of poor tech support. count your blessings it went bad during the warranty period. How big is that thing anyway? all the monitors I ever owned don't add up to $560 bucks
