Why is color bad on computer?

Why on my computer almost everytime I click on something the screen flickers into a negitive color?

Please help.     It could be software. I would first reset all power, as in no power for a few minutes. Retry. If it doesn't help, try in a new user account.If it does it there try safe boot. Sorry, from the first step on have all devices disconnected.. If it does it in safe mode, a new user, while booted to a disc, thsaan you are looking at a hardware problem such as a connection issue or video card. And make sure the software is up to date

Hi If the screen is flickering i would check that all your video card drivers are up to date. From the link given it states that the video card is ATI, so check the ATI website for drives or you could also do it by way of the device manager. It could also be a loose connection between the screen and the motherboard on the laptop. Hope this helps Good luck Olly

Try these - 1. turn off your computer and disconnect and reconnect all interfaces including monitor and mouse. If that didn't fix it 50/50 chance 2. if XP? on your screen right click on properties, choose settings, troubleshoot if that works as expected and you don't see anything strange then it's either your monitor or PC, see if you can borrow a friends monitor or bring yours to a friend to determine if it's the monitor or PC. if it's a laptop return it.
