Why does my computer screen turn of when I play certain PC games?

How can I get my computer to play games in full screen?

  • This is not a problem with the games being played in windowed mode. My computer used to be able to play all games in full screen format but a while back I was adjusting some settings with dual monitors and something went wrong. My screen resolution is set to 1920x1080 and before the mix up any time I would play any older game that has a lower resolution for example; Diablo II or Might and Magic 6, it would expand it in full screen. But now it will only load the game in its resolution but it is not windowed. If the game has a resolution of 800x600 it loads it as that in the center of my screen and the rest of my monitor is just black. Here is an attempt at a visual example if this helps at all ^<-------------1920--------------->^ |..........empty screen..........| |..........^<----800---->^..........| 1080..600..GAME..600..1080 |..........v<----800---->v..........| |..........empty screen..........| v<-------------1920--------------->v Right now all I can do is either play the game really small or change my screen resolution to the games resolution for each game so I hope someone has some idea of how to fix this. Thanks to all that at leas try :)

I really have no clue, but the best thing I can think of is when your playing the game in small screen, press alt enter. That's all I got, hope it helps :)
