How to buy a decent monitor?

How to buy a computer monitor?

  • Looking out for what points to be kept in mind, top brands, models, durability factor

  • Answer:

If you're looking for a monitor just for working and computer surfing, pick the size you need and any reputable brand will do, such as Toshiba. If you are buying for gaming you need the size, the good brand name, and ensure you have a fast response time (under 5 ms) and a high contrast ratio.

if you buy for play computer games you must but min. 22" 1920x1080 resolution or you can buy apple monitor but it's more expensive than 22". whatever.. if you buy 22" I prefer Samsung or asus remember to buy 3d one. Sorry for my bad english

Panels are usually made by the same manufacturers, so the brand isn't that important. Buy the one you have the money for and which you feel comfortable with (go to a store and look at the devices shown, if the picture size/quality fits you, buy it. This is no rocket science.
