  • my computer was windows xp and i have 894 mb 1.60 GHz and wen i put high resolution it thus freezes and i got to turn it off and on

  • Answer:

SHOULD WORK. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TOTALLY ERASE HARD DRIVE FIRST. THEN REINSTALL USING PROPER OPERATING SYSTEM. SOMETIMES VISTA CAN BE TRICKY. BUT SHOULD WORK. YOU WILL NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR RAM ASAP SEEING VISTA RECCOMMENDS 1 GB MIN. I GOT THIS ANSWER FROM REPAIRCOMPS.COM

Other answers

i've got 1GB RAM in my desktop and yet it'll freeze on high resolution because it doesn't have a powerful graphics card.

cause your monitor can't handle the resolution u set it at.

Vista requires much more memory than XP. Probably not enough memory. Many computers share memory between graphics and main memory. Get more memory or reduce resolution!
