Computer monitor no signal beeps problem please help blue screen?
-
So,my computer was working fine yesterday. However, the problem listed below happened two days ago. I turned my computer on, but the monitor displayed no signal. the first time this happened, i heard a beep. nothing was displayed on the monitor. so, i turned the computer off, pressing the button. and turned it on again. i didnt hear beeps this time, but the monitor said no signal. i then disconnected the power supply, and other usb/wires from the computer and monitor, along with the vga cables and then left the computer to sit for a couple minutes. i plugged them back in, but the monitor still displayed no signal. so, i turned the computer off again, and then waited half an hour, before disconnecting and connecting the vga cables again, and then the monitor display worked. however, within 15 minutes or so, i got a blue screen of death because of some driver problem can you please tell me what i should do, i am afraid of this happening again, and i usually need a computer everyday i'm running computer scans at this time is it a virus? what is it and what should i do? thanks for your help.

This could be caused by many things. I believe malware is bottom of the list. It's trial and error time. While the computer is switched off, try removing all the memory sticks, then simply re-insert them and switch on. I've known this procedure to cure many boot up problems. If you know your bios manufacturer (usually flashes on the screen at boot up), and count the number of beeps and their length (long or short) this will give you a clue as to the problem. Manufacturers include Ami, Award, American Megatrends... I would replace the power supply as it is probably failing and not supplying enough power to the graphics
