On my PC no wallpaper is staying .it disappeares and screen becomes black ,just desktop icons r visible,vat 2?

reinstall window and disable updates if u r using pirated cd. or your pc is hacked by remote user in my view. dont compromise with this prob. if need refrormat.

jus check if the wallpaper you've activated is for the desktop or its a screen saver.. to do this right click on your desktop and go to the properties tab and check

I think you are having enter net connection in your pc. so ones you remove it it will come again by automatic updates For blocking this permanently when you got the option that windows updates are ready for your computer then don't install them automatically select customize and the un chech the box for Microsoft windows genuine (some thing like that i dint remember exactly) then there is some option for don't update this software in future (some thing like that i din't remember exactly) then apply it so that you will never receive this GENUINE MICROSOFT SOFTWARE in future. Definitely a virus. Probably the one named Smithfraud or one of his heirs, that is a typical behavior for that one. For that one you need removal tools, which you can find online. The safest thing to do (and the easiest, imho), however, would be reformatting hdd and reinstalling windows.

right click on your desktop and click properties>desktop tab>customise desktop button> web tab and untick my current home page and hit apply. now try to place any wallpaper.

Hey man, you're using a pirated version of windows. Please go for an original version. Try reformatting it.I am also experiencing the same problem in my laptop.That's the only solution.
