Computer turns on but the monitor doesn't receive signal?

Computer turns on but the mouse and monitor doesnt?

• I have recently formatted my computer. But now when i turn my computer on my mouse and monitor do not work. My mouse flashes on and off and then turns off completely and my monitor just says no signal. I also think my keyboard isnt working either. I have checked all the wires are plugged in. I have relased static and i have hoovered out my computer (usualy does the trick) but nothing seems to work. This is very frustrating. How am i supposed to download windows onto my computer without a mouse keyboard or monitor and how am i supposed to fix my mouse keyboad and monitor with my computer just ben wiped?

  Your monitor should still work. Maybe its a bad motherboard? The chance of all 3 things going bad at once at fairly small. Your monitor should work though, try looking for another port to plug your monitor into in the back. You may have it plugged into your video card which isn't recognized because its way oldschool and doesnt have drivers that work for it so you may be able to use onboard video for installs if you have it. Honestly, it sounds like a bad motherboard but its a long shot from being anywhere close to sure.
