I cant seem to get my netgear online its on its beeping blue light comes on i just cant seem to get it online!?

ok so what iam tryin to say does any one no how i can get it to connect to the acess point because its a reel pain in the **** i did have a netgear before and it worked perfectly until i snapped it than i bought a new one and then it all lights up but just wont connect to the internet can some one tell me the answer because i have no idea what to do right now does any one no what i can press to make it work hlp hlp if u hp i will hlp u. plseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
