Can I replace my CPU on my laptop?

Can I replace this graphics card in my laptop?

  • I have an HP Pavillion dv7-4177 laptop. The specs are: OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7 Q720 @ 1.60Ghz (Turbo-boost to 2.8Ghz) RAM: 6GB of DDR3 RAM GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5650 with 1GB of Dedicated RAM Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard, Model: 1449 65.38 Intel DMI Host Bridge Chipset Intel HM55 Southbridge BIOS: Hewlett-Packard Version F.29 I have a switchable graphics card (it automatically switches between my ATI card and integrated graphics), and I was wondering whether I can replace the HD 5650 with a more powerful one, but still keep the switchable graphics functionality of my laptop. Thanks.

I dont think you can change it, very few laptops can change graphics and most of them are top of the line 2000+$ like alienwares or x7200
