Will the warranty on my HP laptop cover?

Dog spilled BEER on my brand new HP laptop, will the warranty cover this?

pop it open, wipe it with water, let it dry and see if you fool them. We do it to dell all the time were i work. they cover it. as long as there is no sticky residue, they just think it died.

The warranty only covers defects, not accidental damages. Unless you purchased an accidental warranty with your laptop (as far as I know, only Best Buy offers this kind of warranty), the warranty will not cover it.

Lying will not help as liquid damage is easily seen. Get it repaired, kill the dog, and stop drinking. Drinking will lead to having too much fun, lots of sex [which is lots of fun too] and bringing the cans to the recycle center is a PITA.
