Hi. I just got a new computer, and the cursor is REALLY annoying me...how to change it?

So, on my new computer (It's a Toshiba Satellite L505, if that matters)...anyway, the cursor is annoying. If you move it to the side a certain way, it becomes this little cross thing, with all the arrows pointing to each side, and if you move it again, it will make your entire screen bigger or smaller, depending on which way you move it. It's really annoying, and I'm not even sure exactly what I'm doing to make it happen. Is there any way to turn this feature OFF? My text/screen size ends up changing about a thousand times. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can tell me how to fix it, that would be really helpful! Thanks a bunch :)

Answer:
Go to: start> control panel> mouse> then configure the settings to how you want them... it's easy.
