Why doesn't msn work on my laptop?

My laptop screen doesnt work. Should i buy a new screen or a new laptop?

  • My laptop started having this lines on the screen since monday.. As days passesd the screen got worst. It got more lines and now it has a big circle in th emiddle its blak. And half of the screen has vertical and horizontal lines. So i can only see part of the left side of the screen. Should i buy a new screen for the laptop or is it better to just get a new laptop? I have a Acer TravelMate 2480-2779. I've had it for 1 year and a half.

hey i have had same problem its a new screen your looking at £150- £200 put another £100 on top of that you got yourself a new laptop i would get a new laptop all together because by the time you have fixed the screen how long will it be before something else breaks you would have just wasted your money and all for the sake of saving a 100 quid not worth it get a new one

Contact Acer to see if they still have replacement screens available. You can send it in to them for a quote. If the laptop is still underwarranty the repair should be free. But keep in mind that if it costs more to fix it than a new laptop dont do it. Good Luck

I would get a new screen, instead of a new laptop. unless it costs more to repair it than to buy a new laptop :D

a new screen would probably save u hundreds of $$$. get some who knows about computers to look at it and ask them that's prob Ur best bet
