How do I connect my macbook pro to a television?

My macbook pro won't connect to my wireless internet. ?

  • I have a macbook pro (aluminum, 15-inch) and it won't connect to my wireless router. I have netgear, and whenever i do a diagnostics run on my macbook pro, it says that i need to restart my netgear. BUT i did another diagnostic to check my internet connection on my macbook pro, and it said that my internect connection was fine. ????? 1) i have no idea how to restart my netgear 2) what's wrong with my macbook pro?

  • Answer:

Your MBP may say the connection is fine even though you can't get online, because the MBP is connected to the router but the router isn't connected to the internet. Nothing wrong with your MBP. Unplug the power to both your modem and the router. Then, after a moment, plug in the power to the modem and let it dial its number. After it gets its thing done, lights all steady and bright, then hook up power to the router. Then if all is well with the connection to the world, your MBP should be happy again.
