Which one is better graphics card?

  • Hi. I want to know which of these graphics card is better: A Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family or an Intel HD Graphics 2000? I want a certain game, Portal 2, but I don't know if my laptop's graphics card is better than an Intel HD 2000. I've heard some people say yes, but I want to be completely sure to avoid buying something that won't work. Thanks.

intel onboard graphics chipset is not as good as nvidia or ati graphics card but with HD2000 u can play games like call of duty6,7 medal of honor and other modern game on low graphics detail(i had it) HD2000 is newer than 4 series express chipset, hence its better than one u mentioned

No its not. You have a x4500 MHD, in your laptop, and that is worse then a GeForce 8400. So you cant run Portal 2. One its not possible that a x4500 MHD, can run Directx11. But since my brother has a laptop that uses a GMA HD, that support Directx 10. You should be able to run Portal 2.

Neither of those can play Portal 2 at even low settings. I would say at least a 5450 or 520m to play it at a decent FPS.
