I need help with my laptop its brand new and screen keeps showing flickers of white lines across it?

  • i have a brand new Dv6 laptop only about 2 weeks old, and just today out of the blue the screen has small white flickering lines across the screen happens mostly at the top and mid of screen. Now there only like 1mm thick and dont affect me viewing it but its anoying and i feel that its going to go worse. Sometimes the screen flickers constantly sometimes just a little then goes back to normal? Should i call hp and get this resolved because at 2 weeks something like that is not suppose to happen. What could it be? the laptop has been no were besides my room and has no damage never been hit dropped or anything like that. But i also see alot of people having similar issues with the hp laptops? please help

Increase the screen refresh rate to 85 mhz ,still having problems warranty , contact hp

The pixel flickering is normal when a laptop is new but if it continues after a few days take or send it in for repair or take it back and exchange for another new one.
