What are some low priced laptops that are powerful enough for games?

Some questions on Laptops and Games?

  • I have a LG R400 Laptop, which is the only computer I have at my house that is slightly capable of playing games. But the problem is that its specs arent that high and therefore it cant play the latest games without lagging ALOT. Its specs are: 1.86GHz Dual-Core CPU, ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 (128MB), and 2.5GB RAM. I would like to know: 1. What all I specs can I change without too much trouble (though I dont think I will change my RAM)? 2. Is it possible to increase my CPU speed by simply replacing my old CPU Processor? 3. How do I change my graphics card in a laptop? 4. How much would a decent (isnt too expensive, and works pretty well with latest games) cost? 5. If you had my computer what would you do to make it compatible with the latest games? 6. Is it worth it? Thank you very much, sorry for so many questions.

Answers: 1. little confused on the question but... i think that computers fine for what it is. 2. Umm yes but i wouldn't recommend it, auctally don't do it if you don't know what type of motherboard you have what cpus it supports and if your power supply can handle the new cpu. (you could just overclock you cpu in the bios settings) 3. You can't on laptops... atleast very easily 4. about $250 5. Make a new one. Build it yourself (desktop-more power & cheaper, but not very mobile) 6. not really NO good luck with your quest!
