  you just have to get the right cable, if your computer has hdmi, that would be the best cause it transfers sound and audio, look on your tv and see what you have for inputs, if you have one that matches your computer , its just a matter of getting a cable, vga will not transfer sound, so you need to run an audio cable from your earphone jack on your computer to your audio "input" jack to your tv, you will need another cable for that, it will look like a "Y" red and white, and come down to an earphone size female plugin,sounds complicated , but it isn't
