I'v acer aspire 3680,problem is that sometimes when i switch it on nothing comes on screen except power light.?

i dont know, sometimes it open but sometime i have to switch it off and open it again.

Sound as if there is a fault with the switch that turn on and off the screen when you open and close the laptop. Is it still under warranty?? You could possibly open it up to see if the connection is loose.

try the obvious stuff such as re-seating all the ram, and hard drive, but it sounds like a motherboard issue though, also make sure it's not a bios password in place..
