Does the PSP-2000 battery work with the PSP-1000?

Will an acer D255 work with a 6cell battery?

So I'm interested in buying a netbook (link below), with 3cell battery, however the battery life is only listed as up to 4hours. I was wondering if a 6cell battery (also below) would be compatible with the netbook so I could give it a longer battery life?
