IRQ Timeout error when writing zeros to drive?
-
My computer crapped out on me....again. It's a Gateway M460 Notebook. I'm using GWSCAN 5.12 to write zeros to my drive but when I get halfway it gives me an IRQ Timeout error and tells me to contact technical support. Unfortunately the s upport is MPC now, not Gateway, and it sucks so I'm yet to hear back. Anyone have an idea how to fix this, or is it a bad drive? Thanks.

Answer:
Have you tried restoring your computer to an earlier date then re-running the disk washer/
