Good programs to have on a tablet PC?

Best tablet/Tablet PC for drawing/sketching?

  • I am about to be heading off to college for art and illustration, and I am thinking about getting a tablet or Tablet PC to draw and sketch on directly. AND BEFORE ANYONE SUGGESTS IT, I'm not referring to tablets such as those produced by Wacom, I have one already, but it's to cumbersome to tote around with me. It would need to be able to run Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator/Sketchbook Pro, programs such as this. It would be great if it was pressure sensitive as well. Thanks in advance.

    I bought my wife this Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet so she could continue her drawing hobby on the computer. Before she would hand sketch everything and then scan it in and draw over it in Illustrator. We bought this and it lets her do everything on the computer! It was very easy to set up and use on Windows 7 with both Illustrator and Photoshop.
