Where can I buy Dr Dobbs journal and other programming magz in Malaysia?

14 inch game programming and gaming laptop, where to buy one?

  • I'm about to take a MSc in Games Programming and it will require alot of programming, maybe 3D modeling and all that and thus I'm looking for a 14 inch laptop that has good resolution (since I like having alot of space in my IDE and editors and sometimes like to split the screen in 2 and stuff like that), enough CPU power and RAM to make my programming easier and at the same time enough GPU power to play the next-gen games decently, like Battlefield 3 and TES5:Skyrim. Is it possible to get something like that in the UK? and how much would it be? I'd prefer something under 880£ or 1000€. To sum up: 14" laptop good cpu (i7) 4-8GB DDR3 RAM good gpu (1-3GB) good resolution (1600x900? is 1366x768 any good for programming and editing? seems to have very little area) Thank you in advance

    No gaming laptop can me that cheap on the specs you just listed. But you can try the alienware m- series.
