Why is sims 3 so slow on my laptop?

i have a mac... and i purchased the leopard 10.5.6 and downladed that then i relized that on the sims3 game requierments it says that you need leopard 10.5.7. so i went on the apple website and downloaded the new leopard. it completed and i started playing sims and it was slow!!!! i just want to know why its so slow... and is there anything i can do to amke it faster??? thank you sooo much

try to restore your computer by using your restore cd and if you want to install leopard next times do a clean restore

Compare the specification of the Game with the specification of your Computer/Laptop if they are only on minimum specifications then no or not very well.Specially laptops and high power Games can not play on Laptops. Check the Game specifications needed to play compare it to your Computer and if you are under the specifications you can not play it is to big,fast or complex for your Computer to run it
