What gaming laptop should i buy?
-
I'm looking to buy a laptop for gaming and school work. I know desktops are better for gaming but i need a laptop for portability. A good warranty would be great as i would like this to last as long as possible I want to play games like BFBC2, BF3, Left For dead 2 and SC2 I'm pondering on getting an ASUS from the G series (republic of gamers), msi g series or alienware m14x!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?! OR MAYBE A SAGER HEARD THERE GOOD Can someone give me there opinion and LINKS.... I live in CANADA so it needs to be from bestbuy.ca/futureshop.ca or NCIX MY BUDGET IS AROUND 1000$, BUT THE CHEAPER THE BETTER!

Answer:
Ok definitely never EVER get an Alienware, overpriced junk for fanboys. ASUS is definitely the best bang for your buck, while customized Sagers range from 3k-6k$, mainly for enthusiast. You should try Newegg.com, best site for all pc needs, sells items at good deals, way better than BestBuy. (Best customer service i've ever had and they also ship to canada) Running games like BF3, BFBC2 will take quite a bit of power from a laptop, and at around $1000 it'd be pretty hard to find something good. (With that kind of money, Alienwares and Sagers are out DEFINITELY out of the question). With a desktop, 1 grand would be a different story, but i understand your need for portability. I'd recommend http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230021, TRUST ME i'm looking for the same exact thing you are, cheap good gaming laptop for college and BF3 (o yeah). And honestly this is the best PC you can buy ffor less than 1 grand. Quad Core i7, 6 Gb DDR3 Ram, and ATi 5870 (very respectable). Unless you have more money, but honestly this will run anything you need. It can run BFBC2 max at around 35 fps, which is amazing for $900. Plus it comes with a free wireless router for your dorm. Buy it, cause its the best deal i've seen so far. I currently own an ASUS G72Gx, and im also about to upgrade to this.
