My computer won't play certain DVDs...?
-
I have a Sony Vaio computer (purchased in the last year or two). It has a CD/DVD player, but I have found that it will play all DVDs except ones with a 1.85:1 screen ratio. Most of the DVDs I own have a ratio of 2.40:1, which seems to be a standard screen size, and play perfectly fine. I find it bizzar that my computer will only play certain DVDs. Does anyone know why this is? Or what I can do to fix it?

Answer:
well i would've took it back if it was recently. it is problary got something rong with its reading system that reds the disk and doesnt read every disk which would be really ignoying so if i was you i would get thee player replaced which would be the best thing to do,then you wont have that problem.
