Mac Help?

Mac is not working. Help!!!!!!!?

• To start this is a school mac. All of a sudden my Mac is not working, Last night, I was on it on my bed with my mac and all of the sudden my mac turns black with green lines on the top of the screen. Then i quickly took out the battery. I put the battery back in again and i tried to turn it on, there was a black screen and a repeating sound of "beep". Please help me. IDK if this will help but the next morning i put the battery back in and turned it on. I turned on normally, looked liked it was working than all the sudden i pick up my mac and there it was, the black screen with the green lines on top. If this can only be fixed by a professional, how can i delete the memory cause ive got foxy proxy, and if they see that ill get in trouble. Plz help!!!!!!!!!

  Moral of the story - DON'T use a laptop on a bed! You are blocking all the air vents on the sides, causing the laptop to overheat. When it reaches a critical temperature, the laptop is designed to shut off to prevent damage. Put the laptop on something solid rather than the bedding.
