How to change HDD's on laptop?

Can I change my damaged laptop for another different laptop at besbuy?

I bought this ASUS G50vt at bestbuy, and it has the warranty of damage, This laptop has 4gb ram, 320gb hdd, nvidia 9800 512mb, and it is 15". I was wondering, this laptop isnt available anymore at bestbuy, now they have the G51, which is the same as the G50, except for its video card, which is 1 gb, my question is: If my laptop gets damaged, and they dont have this laptop anymore there, which laptop will they give to me? Also, mine costed about $1200, and the g51 costs $1300. Please reply.

If it's still under warranty they will offer you something up to the same price as what you already have. You can opt to get the g51 and only spend an extra $100 but that's obviously up to you.
