Netbooks or Laptops! Please Give me a good decision!?

  • I am a web designer and doing a part time job in a company! As i am about to get a lot of website projects, i might need to work on the go while travelling and in my college also! My friend suggested me to buy a netbook cuz its portable and light weight. I also heard that netbooks are not capable of working heavy applications like its not as good as laptops when it comes to factors like battery charge screen size, performance! my requirement is that i need lappy or else a netbook which is -high performance -light weight -intel core i5 or i7(the best) -min. 8hrs battery life -500GB HDD -reputed brand -availablity in Oman -512mb Graphic card

    i'd definitely go with a laptop if i were you. most netbooks have screens that are too small (i like big screens personally) and the keys are REALLY hard to type on in netbooks i find i have a dell inspiron (which i love) and my brother has an acer netbook and i hate it

firstly NO NETBOOK IN THE WORLD has core i5/i7 or 8hours battery or 500GB hdd, NOT ONE!! the new macbook pro has everything youve asked for (depending on how much you want to spend), and also has up to 10 hours battery.

With those System Requirements it would be easier found in Laptops as the hardware is of much higher performance at a more reasonable price you'd pay a lot more for a netbook with similar hardware specs.

Go with a loptop. The netbooks are great just for web browsing, but have no processing power. Some netbooks have decent battery life but the amount of memory (cpu, ram, and hardrive) is way beyond what the netbooks can do.
