Can my laptop run sims 3?

all i know that its got a 4gb ram and a 500gb hard drive, at the moment i have sims 2 and loads of expansion packs, with some cool family on it, so i don't want to uninstall my sims 2 games and then find out sims 3 won't run on my laptop, so basically will my laptop run sims 3 if i uninstall sims 2 first, this isn't urgent but i would like to know as soon as possible so i can start to play it!!! Thx in advance!!! xxx

yeah, the sims 3 should work on your laptop as long as you have the right version of it. such as the mac version if you have a mac, or the pc version if you have anything else. so yeah, it should run!

If sims 2 works fine then so will sims 3 :).. There will be a drop in performance but if you set all the graphics to low and keep the laptop well cooled while playing it should be fine! Lots of people make the mistake of blocking the fan , therefore overheating the laptop and having it shut down on them:)

According to the pack, SIMS 3 will only work with XP and Vista, however, I do have it working with 7 on a PC.
