How to animate a gif for a very simple loading screen?

My laptop keeps looping from the Windows Loading Screen back to the Acer Startup Screen...?

  • I was surfing the internet (three tabs open including Youtube) and chatting with my friends over IM when the music I was listening to on Youtube began skipping. Soon after it did, my computer froze and a blue screen with white text came up that said "Windows has encountered a problem and has shut down to protect your files" or something along those lines. At the bottom it said 'beginning physical memory dump'. The sound of the skipping music persisted through this screen. I grew impatient after maybe ten-twenty minutes and held down the power button for a couple of seconds. It didn't turn off the computer, so I waited for a bit. I tried it again some time later and successfully turned off the power. After turning it back on, I was asked whether or not I wanted to start Windows normally, turn on Safe Mode, or Load Last Known Good Configuration. Each attempt yielded the same reaction: it would show the Windows Loading screen for a few seconds, and then the same blue screen mentioned before would flash for less than a second and take me back to the laptop startup screen, where that whole process would go on again. I'm afraid and frustrated. My laptop is currently off now, but I don't know what to do. Help!

I'm no expert but it seems your laptop has either been infected by a virus or has suffered from a malfunction. Your Windows software is probably corrupt, I would recommend reinstalling windows using the disc you received with your laptop. If your unable to do that then your gonna have to contact your nearest computer shop, they'll format it for you.. at a price..

I would remove the battery for 10 min. and try to restart it again. If it does the same routine i would send it to Acer or another professional for repair or try to do a system recovery using the recovery partition or backup DvD. Either way you will likely lose everything you had on it however.

Download and run spybot

you need to do a clean install of windows on the machine or find the recovery disk that came with it

that same thing happened to my laptop yesterday i just left it off until today and it turned on regularly. but i would recommend next time you get a laptop do not include acer in one of your choices those have many problems. try toshiba those are pretty good i had this toshiba for 6 years

sounds like like a error with Ram Acer uses cheap parts. replace your memory that chould get you going again
