Regular earphones won't fit all the way in a HP Laptop?
-
I have apple earphones I use for my Ipod and on other computers but on my new laptop if I put my earphones in it only goes in 'half' way. If I apply force to it, the earphone goes in full but when I let go the quality is worse and goes back to being half in, also the audio comes through the laptop speakers AS WELL as the earphones. So earphones in normally without applied pressure = earphone half way in, bad quality sound through earphones AND speakers. Earphone when applied pressure = goes fully in, better quality and does not come through the speakers, only the earphones. This is really really irritating, it should fit straight in and sound should only come through the earphones if I put it in. My Laptop is a HP Pavillion g series, Intel i5 running x64 Windows 7. Any help please??
